Ernesto Caravantes is scheduled to speak at California State University - Long Beach, October 07, 2009. The best-selling author and public speaker will discuss, "Education and Cultural Codes: Overcoming Limiting Cultural Beliefs and Achieving Success in Education."
The one hour workshop will focus on un-spoken cultural codes that many Lations live by. The presentation will allow the audience to see how these implicit cultural codes of conduct can guide and shape human behavior, particulary in the area of education.
Ultimately, the audience will learn the statistics of the high drop out rates and how teachers, students and parents can form an effective coalition to help address and alleviate this academic phenomenon.
